This product is comfortable and easy to slide on. Just the right height and warm. Water does not soak through. I have had boots that look like this from affordable discount stores but these are alternative - the affordable ones let water through, your socks get wet, your feet get cold, and they are more like slippers than winter boots. I recommend these Bearpaw boots because they are made for winter wear in slush, snow, or cold weather. they are not too expensive like Uggs but they're every bit as quality a boot for a more reasonable price.

I just returned from a ski trip and these boots were exceptionally awesome. They were brand new but very comfy and kept my feet warm in absolute blizzard conditions. The big decision seems to be sizing. I am always an 8 and never vary from that, but I took the advise of reviews and ordered down to a 7. The 7 fit but my toes were touching the end of the shoe and I was afraid it would rub if I wore them for any time. The 7 also rubbed the back of my heel. I had to go elsewhere to find an 8 (sold out)and that one fit fantastic. I didn't find it run big at all. I was able to wear one thin pair of socks and one very thick wool pair with comfort. The more significant size also didn't rub my heel either. i suppose the thick socks helped and I did use some band-aids to play it safe but I wore them rather long and no problems what so ever. For me, I found they fit true to size with enough extra room to fit thick socks. I also was able to get my pants and underlayer tucked into them with comfort. For those pondering size, the only advice I can give on sizing is to just order both and keep the one that fits best since you will probably have these for many years.

i love this syle of uggs. I have them in black and gray. When I saw them on amazon in brown I was so excited. I ordered them and waited two weeks for them to come. After wearing them 2 times they started looking old. it is hard to explain what they look like, but they didnt look like uggs that had been worn 2 times. I called the company and asked them if they would exchange them and they said NO. it is not like I had them for a month. It was less then a week. I have several pairs of uggs and NONE of them look like this. Some I have had for 2 years and they look better then these. I will never wear them out in public so I wasted 150.00 and the company lost a good client. I will order my childrens and my uggs from another company. Good Luck with this company. I hope you have better luck then I did.
